Football and Me

I love football .. it is a wierd thing for a girl .. surely most of the male community will say!! specially if we are talking of the arab community ... it is defnitely an extremely wierd thing!! it is soo wierd .. that a friend of mine (a lady) actually said that I am a girl plan that just dint happen ... we girls are supposed to be sweet and delicate and very much anti-ball ....

to the girls and the men that think that it is not for a girl to watch and know about football ... Id say .. sorry .. im a football fanatic !! ;p

hehe .. I cant help it .. since I was much younger, I have watched all the world cups .. I dont miss out on the Gulf championships ... Not the khaliji .. there is a different taste to this championship ...

And now .. there is the UAE league ... it truly aint as wild as any of the european league .. but trust me .. we have enough fire in our league to make things interesting & fun .. specially since the last few years ... and I tell you .. the UAE leagues is one of the wierdest leagues that you might come across .. truly .. you can never tell who is on to what ... a team that hasnt even come close to any championships since 20 yrs .. BANG .. takes over the league ... or another who has been dormant for 10 yrs ... takes the league and the presidential cup in the same yr .. how? nobody knows ... its just a part of the surprise package that we have in our league!

My team .. Al Wahda .. it is one of the bigger teams in the country .. ofcourse I dont support it because it is that .. but because I love the way they play!! this season in the league .. luck was just being nasty to us ... and by the end of wk 7 .. we were at the bottom of the list ... trust me .. no1 wants to be even close to that place .. leave alone be in it ... but then .... God All mighty decided to take us up in His mercy ... and now we are back in the competition ... on the 6th position (out of 12) .... and they playes against alain in one of the loveliest matches i have seen this season (2nd best really) .... so .... we're back baby!!

then my absolute football fashion is the "White" .... the UAE national team .... i love them and will be behind them no matter what they do .. and where ever they go ... viva la emarat!! =D

and inshallah .... with Allah's Mercy .. we will qualify to the Mondeal of 2010 ........... Ameeeen !!
