Life ... a journey

Life !! As much as you try to run away from all that is nasty and cruel in this life, and say that you have learnt enough .. you find fate throwing you back in the middle of life's battlefield. There is no running away from it .. none at all ... except to insanity!

To be on the sane side of the world .. you will have to face all that it throws in your way; whatever it is .. nice .. nasty .. dirty .. or nothing at all ....

I once read a saying - "Success is a matter of luck, just ask any loser!" .. which means that the concept of success being attributed to luck is done only by the losers, and that the successful do not beleive in luck .. only hard work. I find this statement completely false ...

There are many people in this world that work hard, work very very hard, every single day of their life ... and yet they do not seem to reach the sucess that "the successful" of the society talk about! I beleive there is more involved in the matter of success than hard work and luck .. much more! Personally I believe there are matters such as ethics, other responsibilities, and society .. (in the least!)

Some people are willing to sell their soul to the devil in order to achieve the success they are so passionate about, and others are willing to risk everything, and hang out what ever they may have in order to reach that higher step - they might do it on the expense of their family, or they might risk their life time savings for it. Others might be tied down due to their commitment to their families, and dont seem to be able to reach the door coz they might be chained back with commitments, so they go about their life calmly, for the sake of the ones they love & care for!

And then there is society .. and what limitations they put on you due to your gender .. nationality .. or even the mis-fortune of incompleted education ....quite a factor in stumbling over the bigger obstacles on the road to success ...

whatever it may be .......... I still beleive that Life is a journey .. its not what you gather for this journey ...how u dress, whot you eat, how you look on this journey ...... but the question remains ... what have you collected in winnings and bonus points for the destination (the life after our death) .... this journey can be done in a first class cabin .. or an economy cabin .. or even with the herd of cows ... but at the end ........ what is going to be our home? wonderful heaven!? Or ... horrifying hell (Allah keep us away from it!) .... ?!?!

Here is an excercise ... set your alarm for 15 mins ... close your eyes .. and think what if you had to pay a visit to hell ... and see all the bad things that you hear about in hell .. is happening to you there ..... How does it feel??? Would you want to live there forever????

Thats a thought you should take .................
